http://bugs.debrislinux.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=37
2010-06-09T13:36:28ZKelek SzaszHi,
first of all, thank you for this light and pleasant OS.
I am coming from the french official Ubuntu forums, where a project of script named Multiboot (now v. 3) is growing up quickly since 9 months > http://liveusb.info/dotclear/
This project permits to build easily a multiboot USB key.
Actually, ~100 distros are supported but the vfat is essential, and the dev (and mys self, as debris user ^^) would enjoy debris to be includable to his project.
I hope you will give a positive response to our request,
cordially yours,
Kelek

Pinta is a drawing/editing program modeled after Paint.NET. It's goal is to provide a simplified alternative to GIMP for casual users. It is currently early in development.

]]>FS#32: Twaek Debi to ask if machine uses UTC or local time
http://bugs.debrislinux.org/index.php?do=details&task_id=32
2009-12-05T20:45:18ZJeffStephan,
Is it possible to have the Debris Installer ask whether the computer uses UTC or local time and can set the parameter properly in the /etc/default/rcS file? This has been an issue for several beta versions of Debris if you use it on a machine that dual boots between Windows and Debris.
Only reason I ask is, as I turn more users onto Debris - if they do the install themselves (easy enough task) - they get frustrated with their clock getting messed with as they move between operating systems. It has been really easy to have them change the UTC=yes to UTC=no to fix the issue, but I have to wonder how many just stopped using Debris and never asked me how to fix that?
I know the Ubuntu Alternate installer asks the question, as does their server install (which makes no sense to me - who dual boots their server?) so I know it can be addressed in the install.
Thanks -
Jeff
