I'm so impressed with blueman (https://launchpad.net/blueman) that I'd gladly assist in preparing a Debris package or at least (I know I can't be trusted to succeed in such tasks) testing on the fullest. It's really making bluetooth handling a breeze.

I agree that this is a total non-issue - but it'd be a nice feat (Ubuntu doesn't have an official blueman package).

I tried to compile it on hardy. The problem is, at least the bluez package in hardy is too old. It needs to be replaced. I didn't go further than this - for now. I'll look into it at a later point.
